Based in the picturesque countryside of Northumberland, has many years experience of teaching and working his own gundogs. Andy has gained numerous field trial awards and successfully tutored his clients to similar achievements.
In 2011 Andy was voted Gundog Trainer of the Year and awarded the Keith Erlandson Memorial Trophy. Andy has also represented Scotland at the Game Fair. Read more

 Professional Deer Manger
Jim is a professional deer manager around Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Norfolk. He also provides client stalking for Roe, Muntjac, Red, Fallow and CWD. Both accompanied and Highseat. Various training courses including DSC 1 and 2. Venison butchery and Introduction to Firearms and Stalking are run from his modern classroom and processing facility.Jim also works closely with Zeiss optics and runs their 'Centre of Excellence' where all of the latest optics can be tried and tested. Read more

A life long countrymen and keen outdoors man, equally at home, on the hill or on the river bank. He is never far away from his next adventure. As an experienced rifle man Andrew manages his deer herds, is a regular stalker in the Highlands as well as a keen vermin shooter. He has also been known to ring steel at long range.Read more

Simon Whitehead is an exception to the rule. A rabbit controller by trade, his demonstrations at events over the Summer months are ranked amongst the finest on the show circuit. He writes for The Shooting Times, shoots and edits his own films, as well as acting as a consultant for media and production companies across the UK on rabbit and ferret related matters. Every part of Simon's work is based upon always trying to improve on what you have already achieved. Through his writing, books, films and talks, Simon's work and influences will be seen, read about or witnessed across not only the UK but the world. Read more

Mountain Rescue Team Member
Based in South Wales and spends most of his down time in the hills. A keen cross country mountain biker and bike bivi lover Tim can be found riding his Fat Bike across Wales and hanging out in his hammock where ever there are trees, and loves putting his bush craft skills to the test all year round. Also an active member of Western Beacons Mountain Search and Rescue Team, Tim puts the hours in training getting ready for that next call. I am a regular, beater, picker upper, shooter, mentor and more recently a loader on grouse, partridge, duck and pheasant shoots across North York. In addition to this I frequent clay pigeon grounds across Cumbria & Yorkshire.

Andrew Callaghan heads up the team at Fenland Bushcraft and has a wide a varied knowledge that he has gained after serving for 26 years in the Army. During this time he has visited Germany, Cyprus, Bosnia, Kosovo, Gulf, Iraq, Belize. He now runs 2 companies, Fenland Bushcraft & A2G Assessments. He also volunteered as a Search Technician with Cambridgeshire Lowland Rescue for a period where he taught Communications and Navigation. Andrew loves to attend shows and exhibitions sharing his vast knowledge and experience with others and is always keen to get the younger generation involved, but his spare time is taken up with his much beloved Land Rover, Walking, Geocaching, history, green-lanes, DIY, canoeing etc. Read more

Reaseheath College in Cheshire is one of the country’s leading specialist land based colleges. We are well known for the excellence of our countryside courses and have great contacts in the industry ensuring plenty of hands-on work experience.

The College gained an ‘Outsanding’ Ofsted inspection in September 2017 confirming our first rate standards of care. We have also recently invested £80m on specialist facilities and resources. All this significantly improves the chances of our students gaining employment in their desired industries.

The Countryside department, in particular the Game Management students, has benefitted greatly from our association with Ridgeline.
